Remember Labor Day

This coming Monday is Labor Day.  It is a day when many of us get to sleep late, spend time with friends and family, and just generally enjoy our time off.  But not all of us will enjoy the holiday.  Many men and women's work is essential to us all, and someone has to punch in every hour of every day.  To express our gratitude to these people, please consider doing something nice for them, like bringing them a basket of fresh cookies, a card, or simply stop to say, "Thanks for your service."

People who will NOT be celebrating on Monday with a day off include:

Police officers
Firefighters
Paramedics
Hospital workers
Gas station attendants
Military members
Hospice workers
Nursing home attendants
24-Hour pharmacists
Airline pilots

Can you imagine being sick and not being able to get medical attention, or medicine? Do crime, fire, or national emergencies take a holiday? Please remember all those who, simply because they are so important to us, will not be enjoying the Labor Day holiday.
